Arguably, stories and/or storytelling are at the heart of all of J Roth’s artistic endeavors. Whether stage plays or songs, he has brought stories both old and new to his audiences.

As part of his Köpet Dag Days project, he has written a series of biographical letters describing his time living overseas in Turkmenistan.
