Set Sail for the Isle of Misfit Toys

This album is the soundtrack to the 2009 production: “Horace Greeley the Lesser on the Isle of Misfit Toys”.

Horace was one of J Roth’s stage personas.

In the play, Horace discovers FU, a Speak-and-Spell toy who has escaped from the Isle of Misfit Toys. FU tells Horace that the isle has been taken over by Despot Yuk, an evil dictator who has enslaved all the toys.

FU

Horace decides to liberate the toys, but soon finds himself fighting for his life against the cruel minions of Despot Yuk.

It’s “Mister Rogers Neighborhood” meets “Apocalypse Now” in this warped (and at times profound) adventure.
