The Erstwhilists
The Erstwhilists were a troupe of actors, musicians and foley artists with an interest in working with mediums of the past. Their first show was a live staging of the old 1945 radio drama: Donovan’s Brain
Their second undertaking: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari was a live stage show presented with a showing of the 1919 silent film classic as the backdrop. Their third endeavor found them once again back in radio days for a staged recreation of the 1943 suspenseful classic: Sorry, Wrong Number. For their fourth production they presented a romantic comedy – a radio adaption of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1920 short story: The Camel’s Back.
The Erstwhilists have included the following actors:
Jeffry Nordin, Christine Nordin, J Roth, David Geister, Paul Cameron, John Knauss, David Otto Simanek, Alex Weston, Elizabeth Karre, Addie Phelps, Will Holmes, Ann Nordin, Jesse Griffin, & Jeffrey Willis.
